Dr Gayathiri Balasubramaniam qualified from India in 2004. After practicing in a private practice for 3 years she moved to UK in 2007. She continued her postgraduate training and gained Membership of Faculty of General Dental practitioners awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010.
Her keen interest in restorative dentistry encouraged her to gain her Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from Manchester in 2012 and her MSc in Clinical dentistry from Leeds in 2014. She was awarded with Fellowship in Clinical Dentistry by FGDP in 2015 and a Certificate in Healthcare Education from UCLAN in 2016. Dr Balasubramaniam has special interest in teaching and is an experienced Vocational Trainer in Foundation Training Scheme in Yorkshire as well as she is also a Fellowship Programme Trainer and Assessor.
Dr Balasubramaniam has special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well as in short-term orthodontics. She has over 10 years experience in cosmetic dental treatments and smile makeovers. Dr Balasubramaniam is a 'Six Months Smiles' short-term orthodontics provider and a Gold lnvislaign clear aligner provider and she has years of experience in composite and ceramic smile makeovers.
She is qualified and experienced in placing and restoring dental implants. She now focusses mainly in providing cosmetic dental treatments, dental implants and same day teeth or full arch implant treatment.
Dr Balasubramaniam is highly experienced in treating nervous patients. She strongly believes that everyone deserves a great smile and her promise to patients is to make the dental experience as pleasant as possible and work in their best interest. She is trained in IV sedation and has been able to treat nervous and phobic patients effectively under IV sedation. She is now training to be a solution focussed hypnotherapist to help her patients deal with all types of anxiety, depression, phobias and addictions.
Dr Balasubramaniam is also trained and experienced in Facial Aesthetics treatments such as anti-wrinkle treatments, lip fillers and cheek fillers, and polynucleotides treatment.
